Regulatory Affairs Intern
Job Location: Green Bay, WI
Paid Internship for Summer 2017
The intern will assist the Nature’s Way Regulatory Affairs team conducting in-depth dietary and food ingredient research for regulatory purposes. Much of the work will revolve around compiling and maintaining product files in order to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. The intern will review and summarize technical research documents to support product and ingredient applications as well as product claims.
Must be college upperclassman: junior or senior.
Must be available 40 hours, 5 days a week during the summer.
The incumbent should have knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
The incumbent should have some experience searching online journals and have the ability to read, comprehend and summarize technical articles and scientific research publications.
The incumbent should have an ability to evaluate technical information such as clinical studies, research papers, articles in peer reviewed journals, understand the information in said documents and be able to concise and report a synopsis of the information in order to create necessary reports.
The position requires excellent organizational skills.
University students interested in pursuing degrees in the sciences or the Law would be especially well-suited for the internship.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Must be currently enrolled as junior or senior in a science or pre-law program at the college or university level.
